| Most of you who know us know how we feel about restored fossil teeth. This tooth is an exception to the rule. Some time during this animal's life she bit down on a whale or porpoise bone and broke off the tip. The "Megalodon Dentist" expertly reconstructed this tooth using NATURAL MATERIAL and GOLD LEAFED the new surface with 24 carat, pure gold. It is too bad that the dentist was not around to help out 6 million years ago! The serrations are dangerously sharp and the rest of the tooth is in outstanding condition. |
