This set of 46 fossil teeth represent the Front Row Dentition of a Great White Shark. This animal lived about 3 million years ago off the coast of what is now Peru, South America. These are REAL FOSSILIZED SHARK TEETH from the world famous Pisco Formation of Sacaco, Peru. None of these teeth have been restored or repaired and all matrix has been carefully removed.
Some of these are huge teeth for the species. The largest anteriors correspond to 6" teeth from the Carcharocles megalodon.
In this particular set there are:
10 each that measure between 2.25" and 2.49". 14 each that measure between 2.00" and 2.24".
4 each that measure between 1.75" and 1.99". 4 each that measure between 1.50" and 1.74".

and 0.74".
24 teeth in the Front Row, Upper Jaw and
22 teeth in the Front Row, Lower Jaw.
Some of these teeth are Grade 8 (worn serrations), some are Grade 10 (crisp serrations), most are Grade 9. There are some beautiful colors represented - pinks, blues, burgundy, reds and rich browns along with tans and grays.
This display measures about 20" high by 30" wide as arranged but can be easily compacted into a smaller area. The teeth are be shipped loose in individual bags clearly marked with their dental position. This chart with numbered teeth is also provided and allows quick, correct assembly of the teeth in a display.
