This animal was one of the later 6 gilled Cow Sharks in the Order - Hexanchiformes (Most sharks have 5 gills.) They lived during the Upper Cretaceous Epoch, Maastrichtian stage, 65 - 71 MYA. These tiny, beautiful teeth range in size from 5/8" to about 3/8".
