The fully serrated megalodon shark teeth on this page have had the display side enamel laboriously polished off to show the beautiful underlying fossilized material. In order to show the black calcium phosphate, the individual photographs were carefully taken to avoid reflecting light on the polished surface. The beautiful reflective surface quality can easily be appreciated in the photograph above.
